So yes no letter for him here but in the last letter of the epilogue he is referred as the one who taught Candy to love again!! William A. It befits Candy Terry so much, although I accidentally found it without CT in my mind... I can imagine the very old Candy in her 70s reminiscing her past with Terry, smiling as she said the lines in the poem...Ichahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11201156394951497511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6965752965164284977.post-24063515927887497632017-09-16T21:26:40.466+10:002017-09-16T21:26:40.466+10:00CandyTerry, thanks a lot for your comment and for ...CandyTerry, thanks a lot for your comment and for the info about the content order in the old novel. It's very interesting...

Anneth, thanks a lot for your comment too! I think you're spot on about the order of the three blocks: Albert, Anthony and then Terry, based on the order of Candy meeting them! Excellent!

"I slowly locked all my memories into the carefully crafted damascening jewel box (all the letters!!!! including Albert and Anthony´s one of the epilogue)."

Very good finding. It's very easy for us to actually just move that Epilogue page after Anthony's letter, and then have Candy locking all her memories back into the jewel box. But I'm now actually fine ("happy" perhaps) that Albert and Anthony letters are inside the Epilogue chapter. It actually gives a good hint about the missing person in the Epilogue!Ichahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11201156394951497511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6965752965164284977.post-89777758011503093422017-09-16T01:28:47.695+10:002017-09-16T01:28:47.695+10:00Bravo!!! The epilogue was used by Nagita to inform how was the Candy-Albert´s relationship!!! and also has this order that keeps the order Candy met the three important men in her life:

The prince (Candy-albert´s letters), Anthony (Candy´s heart letter), Terry (Anohito´s hug).

And in the epilogue Candy sais this before her loves arrive hugging her:

I slowly locked all my memories into the carefully crafted damascening jewel box (all the letters!!!! including Albert and Anthony´s one of the epilogue).

Her present is with the man she doesn´t mention his name: Terry!!!!

Hugs dear!!!

Anneth Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15941924704303835364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6965752965164284977.post-79744611133619788212017-09-16T00:08:53.342+10:002017-09-16T00:08:53.342+10:00I forgot to mention, I love the Epilogue note you ...I forgot to mention, I love the Epilogue note you put there by Ms Moem. I think I'm going to cry too! This was a ...OMG! I think I'm going to cry too! This was a great and convincing analysis and theory as to why Terry is Anohito in the Epilogue! I've always felt those letters between Albert and Candy and her letter to Anthony were "red herrings", put there to obscure Terry's true identity as Anohito. In the chronology, they don't belong in the Epilogue, but some time after Candy discover's Albert's true identity, when she had already moved to Pony's Home. I totally agree that those letters are misplaced-- but purposely so by the author to confuse and conveniently summarize Albert's role in Candy's life in a nutshell.

In the original novel, the Candy-Albert letters did not fall into an Epilogue. There was no epilogue. They immediately follow Candy's unsent letter to her parents (which Nagita omitted in the CCFS). Candy's letter to Anthony was placed before her letter to a deceased Stair. However, the original novel's timeline is also different from the CCFS. But I won't go into that here.(^^)

LOVE your posts, Icha! Please keep them coming!
